Many believers have become satisfied with a mediocre Christian existence that sits on the sidelines while those we consider more spiritual have a relationship with God. This shouldn’t satisfy us. God wants us to hear His voice, understand and obey.

Could our inability to hear God have less to do with His desire to speak and more to do with our lack of preparedness to hear? The Lord speaks clearly, but those most likely to hear are those who have correctly positioned themselves. While we are waiting on God to do His part, He could be waiting on us to do ours!

is a lot of fun with bowling & dinner at Mellow Mushroom!

When the pressures of life push you to the brink, remember that Jesus, your Great High Priest, sits at the right hand of God, pleading your case 24/7.

With that in mind, the Book of Hebrews reminds us of the following:

1. Don’t quit. Never stop trusting God

2. Jesus has been where you are right now. He feels exactly what you feel.

3. Approach God with confidence. While you may not get everything you ask for, know that God will sustain you.

Thank You Reception for Terry Dent
